A “wilderness” walk with deer bookends.
To mark this special day, we planned to explore an area of Rivendell that was nearly virgin territory for us: the extreme southeast portion of Strider Ridge.
We started by using the electric car to drive the track to the Strider Ridge turn-around.
The sky was overcast and gray, the temperature moderate, the air still.
